Announcements

Send text announcements to all confirmed participants of your tournament. Announcements appear in each participant's in-app message inbox — useful for schedule changes, weather updates, or general reminders.

Sending an Announcement

Go to the Announcements tab (?tab=announcements)
Type your message in the text area
Click Send Announcement
The message is delivered immediately to all confirmed participants

Who Receives Announcements

Confirmed participants — yes, all of them
Requested or waitlisted players — no
Rejected or cancelled players — no
Umpires — no (announcements are participant-only)

Announcement History

The Announcements tab shows a list of all past announcements with timestamps. You can review what was sent and when — useful for tracking communication with participants.

Tips

Keep messages concise — they appear in a small inbox view
Use announcements for time-sensitive information (schedule changes, delays)
For rich formatting or longer content, consider using the tournament description instead
Participants receive a notification when a new announcement is sent
