Getting Started

Welcome to Recourt — a platform for running Padel and Tennis tournaments. This guide walks you through the full lifecycle as a tournament organizer, from creating your account to completing an event.

Create an Account

Go to /register and sign up with your email and password, or continue with Google. After signing up you will receive a verification email — click the link inside to activate your account. Once verified, log in and you will land on your Dashboard.

Every user starts with the Player role by default. The Admin (organizer) role is granted when you create or are added to a club.

Set Up Your Club

Tournaments in Recourt belong to a club (organization). You need at least one club before you can create a tournament.

  1. Go to Clubs
  2. Click New Club
  3. Enter a Club Name and URL Slug (auto-filled from the name; cannot be changed after creation)
  4. Select the Sports your club runs — Padel, Tennis, or both
  5. Optionally add a Description and Location (Province and City)
  6. Require Approval gates join requests behind admin review
  7. Save — you are now the club owner with the Admin role

To invite someone to your club, go to the club's Members tab, enter their email address, and click Invite. They will receive an invitation and, once accepted, will appear as an active member. The club owner can adjust member roles after they join.

Dashboard Overview

After setup your sidebar shows the following links:

  • Profile, Notifications, Tournaments, Clubs, Invitations, My Credits, Help — visible to all logged-in users
  • — Umpiring — section — visible only if you hold the Umpire role (granted when you accept an umpire invitation)
  • — Federation — section — visible only to federation members
  • — Platform — section — visible only to platform admins

Your clubs are under Clubs, and your tournaments — including what you're managing — under Tournaments. All sections are visible simultaneously — there is no role switcher.

What Happens Next

Once you have a club, you are ready to create a tournament. Head to the next section to get started.
