Judge Guide

Welcome to Recourt as a judge (umpire). This guide covers how to score matches, use QR codes, and manage your assigned matches.

Selamat datang di Recourt sebagai wasit. Panduan ini mencakup cara mencatat skor pertandingan, menggunakan kode QR, dan mengelola pertandingan yang ditugaskan.

What judges can do / Yang bisa dilakukan wasit:

  • Score matches via QR code scan or authenticated login
  • View assigned matches in Judging → My Matches
  • Score point-by-point with undo support
  • Set first serve and track serve changes (tennis/padel)
  • Complete matches with confirmation on match-ending points

Becoming a Judge

You receive the Judge role when you accept a judge invitation from a tournament organizer. The role appears automatically on your account. Once confirmed for a tournament, you can score matches in that tournament.

You need two things to score: (1) the Judge role on your account, and (2) a confirmed judge assignment in the specific tournament. Having the role alone is not enough — the organizer must confirm your assignment.

Your Judging Section

When you have the Judge role, the sidebar shows a — Umpiring — section:

  • My Matches — all matches assigned to you in the current tournament

If you also play in tournaments, the — My Game — section remains visible. All sections show simultaneously — there is no role switcher.

Key Rules

  • You cannot be both a confirmed player and a confirmed judge in the same tournament
  • You can judge in one tournament and play in another simultaneously
  • The Judge role stays on your account after a tournament ends — it is a platform-level role
  • Guest judges can score via QR code without a Recourt account
